It wasn’t until May 13, 1857, though, that the constitutions of the Congregation of Holy Cross were approved. This constitution fused two organizations – the Auxiliary Priests of Le Mans and the Brothers of Saint Joseph.

Our constitutions contain rights and responsibilities that govern our life, but most importantly they contain the spiritual guidance for how we live and work together. The articles in our constitutions cover all aspects of our life. We invite you to explore the rule of our life, an expression of our spirituality.
